Aerial Targets Flight Services 2 (ATFS2)
Customer: U.S. Army Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO)
SA-TECH is the prime contractor for TSMO’s ATFS2 contract, delivering aerial asset O&M and engineering services. We support Air Defense Artillery (ADA) training for the U.S. Army and Coalition elements; multiple missile/weapon systems (including PATRIOT); Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) programs; missile/weapons systems Lot Acceptance programs; demonstrations; production verification and special test programs. SA-TECH is responsible for all aspects of contract work performance, providing O&M and mission range support for training and testing operations, both at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) sites. We provide the following in support of subscale target systems: target assembly and disassembly, ancillary device installation, mission planning, preflight checkout, site preparation, launch, flight, control, recovery, retrieval, refurbishment, operator level maintenance, intermediate level maintenance, target logbook maintenance, target system in-storage maintenance, environmental protection, quality assurance, logistics services, program analytics and financial support, sub-contract management, information assurance, engineering services, automated systems data entry and data reporting. SA-TECH has successfully managed TSMO’s ATFS contract for two solicitation cycles (8+ years), applying a proven approach to coordinating resources, schedules and personnel while maintaining a high operations tempo with often simultaneous multi-site operations.
